Whole beans
This coffee comes from a single plantation near the old Guatemalan capital, Antigua. The plants grow at an altitude of between 1,400 and 2,000 metres in volcanic soil. Warm, sunny days and cool, humid nights produce a plant of fine elegant acidity and strong character, with a taste reminiscent of bitter chocolate.
